Funeral

Lastweek I went to a funeral mass. It was being said for a Mummy who passed after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.

A year ago today my Uncle Etienne passed from the same disease.

The funeral & remembering Uncle Etienne brought directly into my vision how Cancer ruins lives of both those who suffer & those who support the suffering. Ultimately in many cases taking the life of a sufferer.

My heart has broken as I have read & heard the stories you have told me of those who are suffering. This year I used my birthday party to host a coffee morning for Macmillan Cancer Support. Asking that those who attended would give a donation to Macmillan as opposed to a present for me.

MacMillan Cancer Support works tirelessly to support suffers & their families. But like all organizations they need money to run the amazing work they do. This Friday morning is MacMillan Cancer Supports World's Biggest Coffee Morning. I hope you'll be able to attend or host one yourself. If not please do pop into your local Marks & Spencer who have a great range of products with the proceeds going to MacMillan.

If you can't attend either maybe you would consider making a donation to Macmillan Cancer Support.

That's it for now ...
